ABOUT BETTER UNICOL

Clearer choices for South African learners.

Better Unicol is a free, independent study-planning website for learners exploring university, private college and TVET options in South Africa. It turns school-subject results into a starting APS estimate, then connects learners to programme guides, provider information and funding routes.

We are proudly South African and frontend-only: no account or database is needed for the calculator to work. Our aim is to make the next step after matric feel more understandable—not to replace a provider’s admissions office.
